Allen G. Laufenberg joined KBW in 2005 and leads the business development companies (BDCs) investment banking initiative and advises public and privately-owned depository institutions on a wide range of alternatives. Previously, he was part of the Stifel acquisition of the Legg Mason capital markets division. Earlier in his career, Al was an investment banker at EVEREN Securities and Vice President at First Union Securities (now Wells Fargo Securities). Al received a BBA degree in Finance from of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he was a Kemper Scholar. He is a member of the firm’s fairness opinion committee.
