Brooks Layson joined KBW in 2025 and serves as a Vice President in the firm’s FinTech & Financial Services investment banking group. He is based in KBW’s Atlanta office and advises clients within the specialty finance, fintech, and financial services industries on mergers & acquisitions and capital raises. Previously, Brooks was a member of the investment team at MSouth Capital, a provider of private credit and minority equity solutions and affiliate of MSouth Equity Partners.
He began his career at KBW as an analyst. Brooks received a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.
