James ‘Jim’ Harasimowicz rejoined KBW in 2011 and provides corporate finance, strategic M&A and capital markets advice to Financial Institutions. Previously, Jim was Co-head of Depository Institutions at Merrill Lynch. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup. Jim’s industry experience includes advising on more than 40 M&A deals with an aggregate deal value of over $38B. He has led over 30 bookrun Equity Offerings, including IPOs.
Jim has responsibility for developing CEO, CFO and Board level relationships, conceiving value-added initiatives, negotiating strategic mergers and acquisitions and structuring capital transactions within a complex regulated industry. He received a BA in Economics from Middlebury College.
