Rick Wassmundt joined KBW in 1992 and is a Managing Director based in New York. He is part of the fintech & financial services investment banking team. Rick currently focuses on CLOs, structured products, closed-end funds, and FDIC contracts, and has worked on a wide variety of transactions for depository, non-depository, and fund companies, including equity and debt capital raising, M&A advisory, and overall financial strategy.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an engineer at the electric boat division of General Dynamics. Rick has an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
