Shal Chowdhury joined KBW in 2023 as a Managing Director in the FinTech and Financial Services Group, covering FinTech & Payments sectors. He brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial services sector, having successfully sourced and executed transactions across various segments, including merchant acquiring, card networks, security solutions, bank software, earned wage access, and cross-border payments.
Most recently, Shal was the Head of FinTech Investment Banking at Wells Fargo. Before this, Shal a payments coverage banker at Barclays in the Technology Investment Banking Group.
Shal holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BS from Pace University.
